It's getting closer to the end of the growing season! As we all get ready to put food away for use during a long, cold winter, we also create a feast to celebrate the harvest!
We're doing just that at JammyStone Park . StormRhyder Quandry, Teddy Bear, and Cheyenne Rhapsody, have your place laid out, to create and show off your idea of a Thanksgiving Feast!
The rules of this contest are very simple, and very short! (Thank Goodness!)
1) It may be unheard of, but you have a HUGE 400 prim allowance in this build. Detail will count in your finished product! All prims must be Your prims, and New Prims! Only prims that you create are allowed, and we do check on that! You may use sculpts, as long as it's a sculpt map that's used in a prim you create. You're allowed to use scripts in your build, however, if the scripts are far too laggy, we may ask you to remove them, so that everyone can have the resources needed to make their build a success. You may use particle emitters, poofers, lights, glow, as long as they don't interfere with a neighbor's build. Be a good neighbor, it's part of what the holiday is about!
2) You'll find on the contest area (landmark above), a row of tables, for you to use, to build the things for your feast, and to display them! Pick the table you like, and purchase it for 0 Izzies, and please, please, please, place a prim on the table, to show us and others that the table is reserved for you. You'll have your table space, plus the prim it's on, to make your entry a showpiece. Should we run out of tables, we'll put up additional room, and make a space for you.
3) Your feast can be the traditional roast turkey and trimmings, or venison, or anything at all that you feel marks this passage from a warm summer into the winter months. Show us how you celebrate the holiday.
4) You'll have until November 4th at 9 PM IWT to complete your feast, for judging. We want to see the finest work you can do at creating the table, so, all the time you need.
Judging will begin that evening, and the winners will be announced on November 5, at the Saturday evening dance at JammyStone Park.
5) We may ask the winners or other contestants, to give us a copy of their builds to put on display in the museum. As InWorldz grows and as we grow, we want the winners of our contests to be remembered for what they've done.
6) Please do your work on your build in the park. If you get stuck, the park is also a lovely place to take a walk and let your mind relax. Just ask the people who live in the park. It's a great reason to smile!
